Assemblage Mixed Media Samantha Has a Spring in her Step!
Samantha always wanted to be a model. She had the long legs, the attitude, the couture look. The problem was she had a spring in her step. She just couldn't make herself slink down the catwalk. She was, well, too springy and bouncy. Up and down and up and down. She was better suited for, I don't know, maybe basketball. However, she is much too buttoned up and perfect to do something that would require her to break a bead of lady-like perspiration, especially in front of people.
Samantha is 30" tall and 10" wide. Her long, long legs are made of screen door springs. Her body is an old hinge covered in grandma's buttons. Her head is an Italian frame and she wears low heeled shoes of brass buttons.
Welcome to Temporary Insanity where my husband Alan and I create some crazy mixed-up and utterly delightful personalities, "The Vintage People." They would love to go live at your house, or your friend's house... either way, they enjoy hanging around. In fact, that's what they do...they hang by a hook on their backside.
They are made out of antique door plates, old hardware, vintage casters, bobbins, crystals, whatever we can find that's fun and funky! We are scavengers at heart.
Keep checking back! There's always something new and we would love to personalize something for you!
