Nancy Needs Control Altered Art Assemblage
Nancy needs control. It’s obvious to anyone who knows her. Fortunately she was born with an on and off handle. Now her mantra is,“right for tight and left for loose.” Lately she’s been a little more left than right, proof that she’s letting go!
Nancy is made from two old salt and pepper shakers. They dangle from her doorplate body which is adorned with cranberry red buttons from Grandma. Her wings are an old wooden drawer handle that is tinted with red paint. Her face is surrounded by a small brass tray and her crown is made from a metal drawer pull and vintage jewelry. Her on and off handle is from an old faucet. She is 23 inches tall and 12 inches wide. She is made to hang on the wall.
Welcome to Temporary Insanity where my husband Alan and I create some crazy mixed-up and utterly delightful personalities, "The Vintage People." They would love to go live at your house, or your friend's house... either way, they enjoy hanging around. In fact, that's what they do...they hang by a hook on their backside.
They are made out of antique door plates, old hardware, vintage casters, bobbins, crystals, whatever we can find that's fun and funky! We are scavengers at heart.
Keep checking back! There's always something new and we would love to personalize something for you!
